Sebastian Kalemba announced his new role in the company on Twitter. Previously, he created animation for The Witcher 3 and expansions, and also directed animation for Cyberpank 2077.
Career news: I’m directing the new Witcher Saga. Since joining @CDPROJEKTRED I believe nothing is impossible and raising the bar, telling emotional stories & creating worlds is what we’re here for. I’m proud to be part of CDPR and work with such a talented and passionate team.

Apparently, we are talking about a new saga of three games, recently announced by CD Projekt Red. The company announced the creation of a new series of games in the world of The Witcher in October. It is preliminary known that the games will not be a plot continuation of the already released trilogy.
“Career news: I’m in charge of the new Witcher saga . Since joining @CDPROJEKTRED, I believe nothing is impossible and raising the bar, telling emotional stories and creating worlds is what we’re here for. I am proud to be part of CDPR and to work with such a talented and passionate team.”
Interestingly, Sebastian Kalemba gave his appearance to Cyberpank 2077 character Victor Vector. He even took Vector’s image for his Facebook avatar.
It is difficult to say how the head of the game, who was involved in the technical side of development, will affect the plot of the game. On the other hand, the participation of a person directly involved in the creation of the beloved The Witcher trilogy inspires optimism.
The tentative release date for the game (codenamed Polaris) under the direction of Sebastian Kalemba is 2025, the next two parts should be released within a few years after it. In all likelihood, a remake of the first The Witcher game on the Unreal Engine 5 will be released before this.
The Witcher Remake – CD Pojekt Red has begun work on a remake of the first The Witcher, which is created from scratch on Unreal Engine 5
