The Ukrainian company KIVI has prepared a new line of Smart TVs for 2022 for release. It is noted that the design of the devices was developed in Ukraine – in its own R&D center and three design bureaus. Users can choose from models with a frameless design (the width of the visible part of the side frames is 2.6 mm) with a diagonal of 32 to 65 inches. The 24″, 32″, 43″ and 55″ models are also available in white.
The new line features image enhancement technologies such as:
- HDR – high dynamic range for files from the drive, streaming content and games;
- MEMC – image smoothness improvement for low frequency content;
- Max Vivid – adjustment of brightness and saturation;
- Super Contrast Control – automatically changes the image contrast for the entire screen and individual parts;
- UltraClear – Improves the quality of low resolution content up to 4K.
Additionally, the modes Game Mode (optimizes the image during the game) and ALLM (reduces delays when displaying images from the game console) are reported.
The new line of KIVI TVs uses a Mediatek chipset with a new graphics core, which made it possible to implement the functions of MEMC, ALLM, etc.
The sound system of KIVI TVs from JVC Kenwood is calibrated and supplemented with Dolby audio processing (DAP) technology. It allows you to select audio presets and additional tools such as voice boost or automatic equalization of harsh sounds during dynamic scenes or commercials.
KIVI 2022 smart TVs run Android TV 11. Chromecast support allows the user to cast content from a smartphone to a TV screen, and Google Assistant works with voice command recognition in Ukrainian. The control is carried out using a remote control with an integrated microphone, a gyroscope (for the function of simulating an Air Mouse computer mouse) and a Bluetooth LE module.
Together with the 2022 line, KIVI has introduced an updated branded KIVI MEDIA 2.0 program for access to a variety of partner content:
- TV channels: free and paid channels adapted for local markets.
- Movies: A selection of free movies, cartoons and series.
- Workouts: Regularly updated workouts with trainers will help viewers keep their bodies in shape.
- Games: the Boosteroid service is integrated into the section, which allows you to run games without using a console.
- Conveniences: promotional offers from different companies – exclusively for KIVI owners.
Buyers of Smart TVs of the new KIVI line will also have 12 months of subscription to educational and entertainment content for children from the Da Vinci Kids international platform.
