The problems of Apple and its iPhone 14 series continue. If the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are in demand by customers, but cannot be properly delivered to the market due to problems at the factory , then the situation is reversed with the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. According to Bloomberg, citing unnamed sources familiar with the work of Apple, the Cupertino company has decided to reduce the production of the iPhone 14 series, mainly due to the younger representatives of the series. New production target – 87 million (instead of 90 million previously). The reason for this decision was an unforeseen decline in demand, especially in China, where the purchasing power of users is affected by the same COVID-19.

iPhone 14 и 14 Plus не нужны? Apple снижает производство на миллионы

At the same time, some analysts are lowering forecasts for iPhone 14 sales from 91 million to 85 million, taking into account recent events, and Apple shares fell by 1.5%. Experts believe that the drop in demand at the end of this year will be a more significant problem than the drop in supply, although the iPhone 14 Pro remains safe for now. Probably, Apple will try to win back the situation during the holiday season, and in China it will settle the situation by lowering prices. Apple and its partners declined to comment on these posts.
