Telegram has introduced an update with a number of fundamental changes that will significantly change life in large communities. In particular, now administrators of groups with 200 or more subscribers will be able to create separate topics for communication, where you can customize notifications, view posted media files of this particular thread, and use all the admin tools (polls, pinned messages and bots). Telegram promises to expand the functionality for both users and administrators in future updates, but for now it offers a basic core set of goodies. Also, paid collectible names have been introduced in Telegram, which become a “bonus” to a regular name. Such a name must be at least 5 characters, behave the same as normal names (including in terms of display in global search), but can be sold, deferred or deactivated.

Telegram Premium users, to the function of transforming voice messages into text, will now be able to transform video recordings into “letters”. Added new emoji packs for them.

There are also a few separate platform-specific updates: iOS got an improved night mode with more balanced hues and better blur effect in translucent tones, and Android got text size tweaks. A number of visual improvements have also been applied in terms of animations, as well as new interactive emoji (where without them). The new version of Telegram is already available for updating.
