Two leaks appeared on the network at once regarding the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti graphics card, which recently almost made a false start as an RTX 4080 12 GB. Twitter user MEGAsizeGPU confirmed an earlier leak by Kopite7kimi about the renaming of the video card and published the design of its packaging, as well as announced the start date of sales – January 5th.

The Wccftech website provided additional details and dates. He confirmed that the configuration of the RTX 4070 Ti will closely match the canceled RTX 4080 12GB and revealed the following release schedule:
- Presentation – January 3, 2023
- Publication of reviews – January 4, 2023
- Sales start – January 5, 2023
The leak confirmed the use of an RTX 4080 12 GB board in production, so you should not expect major design changes. The RTX 4070 Ti should get a full AD104 GPU with 7680 CUDA cores, 12GB of GDDR6X memory, and a 192-bit memory bus. Card consumption should not exceed 285 watts.
What is highly likely to change is the price. The RTX 4080 12GB was priced at $899 and is expected to drop to match the rebrand. These dates are slightly ahead of CES 2023, where we’re likely to learn more about the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti.
