Since November 23, “PrivatBank” has established a single limit for cash transfers in its own network of ATMs — UAH 20,000. It is valid both for PrivatBank cards and for cards of other Ukrainian banks. Until now, standard limits for cards of other banks were up to UAH 10,000.
This is the maximum amount that can be withdrawn at PrivatBank ATMs for one payment card operation of any Ukrainian bank – it can be repeated in three hours.
An increase in the limits for cashing out cards of all Ukrainian and foreign banks will allow customers of all Ukrainian banks to access cash, if necessary, using PrivatBank ATMs. To date, there are more than 5,000 ATMs operating in the PrivatBank network in all regions of Ukraine — a map of ATMs is available at the link.
Russian shelling has led to record-breaking communications and internet outages in Ukraine — according to NetBlocks, internet traffic has dropped to between 15% and 7% of normal depending on the region. But, despite the blackout, the banking system survived – payments did not stop for a second, and every fourth ATM continued to work in the network. At the same time, the co-founder of monobank Oleg Horohovsky noted that although there were no problems with payments in the neobank, the volume of client requests in the first hours after the shelling fell by 50% from normal levels precisely because many users lost their connection. .
