In the WhatsApp messenger, the implementation of a new function has begun, which allows the user to communicate with herself. The Message Yourself feature actually sends a message to your account. This can be useful for storing notes, reminders, and shopping lists in the app.
Limited testing of the new Message Yourself feature has been underway since late October. Now the beta test has been completed and the messenger team has started a large-scale implementation of the innovation. The Message Yourself feature is available on the Android and iPhone versions of WhatsApp.
After installing the update, users will see their contact at the top of their WhatsApp contact list when creating a new chat. Clicking on that contact will bring them to a chat window that they can use to send messages to themselves. Users with a large number of chats can pin their chat messages to themselves at the top of the conversation list so they don’t have to search for them later.
Previously, you had to use a workaround in the form of the Click to chat function to send messages. But now you can use the new Message Yourself feature for the same tasks, which requires fewer steps.
