Spotify’s Wrapped feature allows users to view analytics from their own year-long music preferences, as well as share the platform’s overall statistics on the most popular artists, songs and podcasts.

In addition to analytics for users (Spotify now has 456 million), which shows everyone’s personal preferences for artists, songs, albums and podcasts in 2022, the platform offers top lists by genre, song and podcast, and counts the total number of minutes spent you spent in the app. This year, however, Spotify Wrapped adds (or returns) a few more interesting features:

• Musical individuality

The feature analyzes how you listen to tracks and assigns one of 16 pleasant categories, such as “Adventurer”, “Fan” or “Specialist”.

The new Wrapped also includes a breakdown of listening skills throughout the day, breaking down the musical moods you gravitate towards in the morning, afternoon and evening.

How to view analytics: you can get acquainted with statistics about your own preferences in Spotify simply in the mobile application by selecting the appropriate card (if the function is not displayed – update it or enter “Wrapped” in the search).

Spotify is also bringing back artist appeals, with stars like Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and J Balvin thanking their fans for helping them get on Spotify Wrapped.
