After buying Twitter, Elon Musk initiated mass layoffs. But now those who remained will have to work for themselves and for others [уволенного] a guy And in order for employees to work more and be less distracted, some of them have to literally settle down at work.
Several rooms at Twitter’s recently vacated headquarters have been converted into small sleeping quarters, two sources said. Employees returning to work at the San Francisco office on Monday found modest bedrooms with unmade mattresses, dim curtains and giant telepresence monitors. There is even a plant in one room. This is a significant improvement over the sleeping bag demonstrated by a Twitter employee in November.

The newly furnished bedroom features bright orange carpeting, a wooden nightstand, a queen-size bed (60×80 inches or 152×203 cm), a table lamp, and two office chairs. The source, who wished to remain anonymous, said that there could be “4 to 8 bedrooms per floor”. Another source, also on condition of anonymity, added that several rooms were located on an almost empty floor. At the same time, there was garbage in the garbage can of one room, so it had already been used. It is noted that the company did not make any announcements due to the appearance of bedrooms in the Twitter office. Presumably, the beds are for “hardcore” employees so they can stay overnight in the office.
