“Kyivstar” announced the extension of the “Roaming as at home” service next year.
“Kyivstar” reports that currently more than 2 million of its subscribers are still abroad due to Russian aggression. Thanks to the agreements reached with international partners, the largest Ukrainian mobile operator managed to preserve this socially significant service – the free service will continue to operate in 27 European countries.
“Kyivstar” launched “Roaming like at home” 10 months ago. Its name speaks for itself – it is domestic tariffs in roaming. That is, when paying for their tariff plan, subscribers usually receive a standard package of services abroad without additional surcharges.

“Roaming like at home” service is available in more than 50 Kyivstar tariff plans for subscription, contract and business customers. In particular, in the subscription tariff for LOVE UA Maximum and LOVE UA for contract and business customers. In addition to full unlimited calls on the Kyivstar network and minutes for calls to other Ukrainian networks and numbers of the host country, additional packages of megabytes in roaming are provided – from 2,000 to 20,000 MB, depending on the tariff. If necessary, additional megabytes can be ordered in packages for a separate fee – from 1 to 10 GB each.
It remains to add that Vodafone and lifecell also provide packages of free roaming services as part of their tariffs as a social service. They will probably also continue to provide free communication services and roaming Internet.
In September, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced the accession of Ukraine to the single roaming space of the EU. As soon as this happens (so far the exact dates are unknown), Ukrainians traveling throughout the European Union will be able to call and use mobile Internet at home rates without additional surcharges.
