The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended the quarantine to prevent the spread of COVID-19 until the end of April 2023. This was announced by the permanent representative of the CMU in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, in his Telegram channel.
“The state of emergency has been extended for the unified state system of civil protection throughout the territory of Ukraine until April 30, 2023. Quarantine has also been extended throughout the territory of Ukraine until April 30, 2023,” the message reads.
It is noted that relevant regulatory changes have been made to CMU Order No. 338 of March 25, 2020 and CMU Resolution No. 1236 of December 9, 2020, which regulate epidemiological restrictions due to COVID-19.
Quarantine in Ukraine to combat the spread of the coronavirus was introduced on March 12, 2020. In the future, it was repeatedly extended, and in the summer of 2021, an adaptive quarantine was introduced. The government last extended the quarantine in Ukraine until December 31, 2022. The corresponding decision was made in August of this year.
