Tesla has created the wireless charger of your dreams, for only a ridiculous $300 - almost like a Cybertruck

Tesla decided that there are too few wireless phone chargers in the world, they have a boring design and no company logo on them – and introduced their own charger. With an impressive 15W of power (powered via USB Type-C from a 65W power supply – you get the hint) the platform can charge not one, but three phones. Hundreds of dollars each – it can be purchased for only $300.

The main advantage of Tesla’s Wireless Charging Platform is probably its appearance, which is “inspired by the clumsy design and metallic styling of the Cybertruck.” It sounds great if you own a Tesla Cybertruck and need a stylish accessory (no one does yet). Or are you a fan of Elon Musk and all his wonderful antics in the past year. Although someone may remember the grotesque forms that manufacturers gave to gaming laptops a few years ago (then their designers probably moved to the manufacturers of gaming routers, and at the end of the way they were sheltered by Tesla).

The charger is clearly designed to be touched, with an aluminum body, an Alcantara surface (a suede-like microfiber feel), and a magnetic kickstand that either lies horizontally or lies at an angle. Yes, you will not always be able to look at the screens of your three charging phones from a comfortable position – it is better to do it from above, proudly looking at your purchase. Otherwise, the charging platform is really convenient – with FreePower support, phones, headphones and other gadgets that charge wirelessly can be placed on it as you like.

Tesla's Wireless Charging Platform

If, after reading this news, you immediately wanted to buy a Wireless Charging Platform, you will not succeed: sales will begin only in February. Or it could be a little later, given the timing of the Tesla Cybertruck. While you wait, read this news on Engadget – the whole editorial team laughed. Here is its beginning:

This is a wireless phone mode that is not one, not two, but three entire phones! And charges them wirelessly! Tesla makes it! For just $300! Shut up and take my money! Are you kidding me?! This is phenomenal!
