During the CES 2023 exhibition, ASUS showed many new products aimed at gamers, including ready-made gaming systems and a wide range of peripherals.
ROG Strix SCAR
The new ROG Strix SCAR 18 (G834) laptop is aimed at eSports enthusiasts. This is the first ROG laptop to feature an 18-inch QHD Nebula Display panel with a 240Hz refresh rate. There are also 16- and 17-inch ROG Strix SCAR models. The 16- and 18-inch models in the maximum configuration are equipped with 13th generation Intel Core i9-13980HX processors with 24 cores and 32 threads, and the ROG Strix SCAR 17 has a processor up to AMD Ryzen 9 (Zen 4). ROG Strix SCAR 16 received a 16-inch Mini LED QHD Nebula HDR Display panel with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. All Strix models in the maximum configuration have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series video card for laptops with Advanced Optimus technology.
ROG Zephyrus
In the maximum configuration, the ROG Zephyrus G16 includes a 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics card with TGP 120 W. The ROG Zephyrus G14 received an AMD Ryzen 9 (Zen 4) processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics card with TGP 125 W. The ROG Zephyrus M16 version has a 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics card with TGP 145W. The G16 and M16 models are equipped with a Thunderbolt 4 port.
ROG Zephyrus G14 is a 14-inch model with a QHD ROG Nebula HDR panel, Mini LED backlight, 165 Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio. Variants with QHD 165 Hz and Full HD 144 Hz panels are offered. ROG Zephyrus G16 is equipped with a ROG Nebula Display panel with an aspect ratio of 16:10, a 90 Wh battery and an HDMI 2.1 interface. ROG Zephyrus M16 in the maximum configuration has a QHD ROG Nebula HDR 240 Hz panel with Mini LED backlight, 3 ms response time, and G-SYNC support. The Zephyrus models have an ErgoLift hinge that allows you to unfold the laptop 180 ° for convenient use.
ROG Flow
ROG Flow X13 in the maximum configuration has an AMD Ryzen 9 (Zen 4) processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series video card. This laptop unfolds 360 °. The novelty offers a choice of QHD-display Nebula 165 Hz or Full HD-panel 120 Hz.
ROG Flow X16 (GV601) can also be deployed 360 °. In the maximum configuration, a 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900H processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series video card, a PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD with a capacity of 2 TB and 16 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM in the slots are available. Users are offered a Mini LED Nebula HDR Display with a brightness of 1100 cd/m2 with 1024 individual dimming zones, a QHD resolution, a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 3 ms.
ROG Flow Z13 (GZ301) is a compact gaming device that, in the maximum configuration, has a 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics card with G-SYNC and DDS 2.0 support. Powerful components are housed in a 13-inch body weighing only 1.1 kg and 12 mm thick. The 13-inch QHD Nebula Display panel with an aspect ratio of 16:10 provides a refresh rate of 165 Hz.
All new ROG Flow products are compatible with the new generation ROG XG Mobile external graphics card (GC33) for additional gaming power.
ROG monitors
During the presentation, ROG representatives also showed what gamers can expect in the future, showing off the ROG Swift Pro PG248QP, a gaming monitor with the world’s highest refresh rate of 540Hz. It uses the new TN-matrix (E-TN) technology, which has a 60% shorter response time than conventional TN panels. ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM was also shown – the first 27-inch ROG gaming OLED monitor in 1440p format with a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 0.03 ms.
Other accessories
ROG Rapture GT-BE98 is the world’s first Wi-Fi 7 standard gaming router that works in four frequency bands. It allows you to reach a transfer speed of up to 25,000 Mbit/s. The device also features one 10Gb/s WAN/LAN port and two 10Gb/s LAN ports.
The ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition wireless gaming mouse is designed for professional esports and competitive shooter enthusiasts. The mouse supports three connection methods: wired via USB, wireless at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, and Bluetooth.
ROG Azoth Gaming Keyboard is a 75% size wireless gaming keyboard with ROG NX switch and OLED display. It also supports 3 connection methods.
ROG Raikiri Pro is the first certified Xbox controller with three connectivity modes. It can be personalized with your own images, texts or animations on the built-in OLED display. It also has a built-in ESS digital-to-analog converter, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a mute button.
The ROG Destrier Ergo gaming chair has a futuristic cyborg look and is made of a durable aluminum frame, breathable mesh and polyurethane foam. It is equipped with head and lumbar supports, as well as a removable acoustic panel that protects gamers from external sounds.
