Valve has summed up the votes for the best games of The Steam Awards 2022 and announced the names of the winners in 11 different categories, which were chosen by the Steam community in a vote that lasted from December 22nd to January 3rd. So, as they say, get it, sign it.

In the main nomination “Game of the Year”, where it was proposed to choose the most worthy project in 2022, the victory was won – and here without surprises – Elden Ring from FromSoftware and Bandai Namco. It also received an additional award in the category “Best game that is not given to you”.
The generally acclaimed action RPG from the creators of Sekiro and Dark Souls has already surpassed The Last of Us Part II in the number of “Game of the Year” awards – it already has 331, according to research on ResetEra.

Users of Cyberpunk 2077 were not left out – the 2020 release won the “Favorite Child” prize. But probably more interesting is that among the winners of the Steam Awards 2022 are as many as four former PlayStation exclusives (including Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales and God of War (2018)), which PC users often despise and call “soap ending” .
