Last night, Amazon Prime Video unveiled the trailer for the second and final season of the fantasy social series Carnival Row. In the center of the plot is the growing confrontation between people living together in the city of Burza and fairies, unusual creatures. Starring Orlando Bloom (Police Inspector Rycroft Philostratus) and Cara Delevingne (Fairy Vignette Stonemoss).
The trailer shows the conflict between fairies and humans, which, judging by the video series, has gone into a radical phase: with night raids, gunfights and murders. The intensification of the faerie’s fight against discrimination provoked a violent reaction in return – we see the show punishment of a group of fauns, as we know from the verbal accompaniment, perhaps not involved in anything. Faun heads are solemnly brought into the faerie quarter for an instructive purpose.
Not only the representatives of the fairies known from the first season (fairies, fauns, kobolds, werewolves), but also previously unseen creatures will appear in the frame. In detail, we see a fairly large membranous winged creature with strange humanoid health. The sound series hints that humans may be involved in the apparition.

The premiere of the series “Carnival Row” took place on Prime Video at the end of August 2019, more than a month before its continuation was officially approved. The series is based on the story “Murder on Carnival Row” by Travis Beacham. The first season consisted of eight episodes, the second season will have ten episodes.
In addition to Bloom and Delevingne, the second season includes Artie Fruscian, Caroline Ford, Carla Croom, Andrew Gower, Tamsin Merchant, David Gyasi and others. The series has changed its showrunner – Eric Olson will replace Mark Guggenheim. The second season of Carnival Row will be released on February 17 on Amazon Prime Video in all regions.
