During the Xbox Developer Direct, developers from Arkane Studios shared more details about their upcoming shooter Redfall. So it became known that the game will be released on May 2, 2023. Initially, its release was planned for the summer of 2022, but then it had to be postponed to the first half of 2023.
In addition, the developers presented some new footage that demonstrates the gameplay of Redfall. In doing so, the unique abilities available to players were shown, as well as the basic setting of Mass, which gives an idea of the story mission at the lighthouse.
Redfall has a single-player and cooperative multiplayer mode. Players choose one of four protagonists—cryptozoologist and inventor Devinder Crusley, telekinetic student Leila Allison, combat engineer Remy de la Rosa, and supernatural sniper Jacob Boyer—to fight the vampires who have taken over and destroyed Redfall.
