Audi presented the ActiveSphere electric car concept. This is a crossover made for off-road, complemented by a strong bottom and variable suspension. The basic ground clearance is 208 mm, it can be changed by 40 mm up or down, depending on the type of road (or off-road).
The car received 22-inch wheels, a spacious luggage compartment (with a folding platform for convenient loading), where there is enough space, for example, for electric bicycles. At the same time, it has a hatchback profile and should provide comfort for the driver and passengers.
The salon reflects Audi’s confidence in the prospects of augmented reality. It is assumed that the driver and passengers will wear augmented reality glasses. They will be able to relay important vehicle performance metrics (to the driver) as well as infotainment and virtual assistant controls.
Audi Activesphere does not have the usual array of instruments, screens, and controls. The car is oriented towards autonomous driving. But when the driver wants to take control, the instrument panel and steering wheel will rise to their proper place.

Since this is still a concept, the main specifications are not yet available. However, Audi claims a range of over 600km and 270kW fast charging using an 800V architecture. According to Audi, the 100kWh battery pack can charge from 5% to 80% in just 25 minutes. In 10 minutes, you can fill up a charge for 300 km of mileage.
As with previous experiments, Activesphere is not a pre-production model. It is rather a vision of Audi cars in the near future, as well as a demonstration of the technical capabilities of the brand.
