TITAN ADA Returns: NVIDIA RTX 4090 Ti 800W Vertical Board Graphics Card Takes Up Four Slots - Leak

According to the leak, the NVIDIA RTX 4090 Ti video card will have an unusual layout – its board will not be located below, but on the opposite side of the PCI-E connector. With this arrangement, the connectors will be in a vertical column on the same side (one HDMI and three DisplayPort). The monstrous design will still occupy four slots, despite the obvious attempt to save vertical space.

The insider claims that this is the RTX 4090 Ti/TITAN card – the final name is not yet known. The PCB marking, PG137 was previously mentioned in connection with the so-called Beast GPU with a TDP of 800 W. The new photos clearly show the design of the cooling system using gold, which is usually used in the NVIDIA TITAN series.

According to another leak, the TITAN ADA graphics card can have up to 18176 CUDA cores and up to 48 GB of memory. It could also be NVIDIA’s first card with 24 Gb/s GDDR6X modules. The faster memory chips suggest that the card will get a maximum throughput of 1152 GB/s, which is 144 GB/s faster than any RTX 4090.

NVIDIA RTX 4090 Ti

The mentioned TDP of 800W is almost double the RTX 4090’s TDP (450W) and half its maximum power limit (600W). So far, there is no indication that such a graphics card may be released in the near future. However, several sources of photos leave no doubt that such a design was planned a long time ago. NVIDIA is expected to hold a GTC keynote in March – there’s a good chance the RTX 4090 Ti will be unveiled at that time.

Previously, we already wrote about the fact that the TITAN ADA video card melted power supplies and its release was canceled. It seems that NVIDIA has returned to the idea of releasing a monster of gaming performance, experimenting with the cooling system and layout. The question arises as to how the video card board will be connected to the PCI-E connector and whether the possible use of PCI extenders will not be reflected in the bandwidth.
