Alibaba, like any Chinese site, is a well of strange goods. This time, Electrek journalists came across an interesting position in the category of electric cars – an electric vehicle in the form of… a dinosaur.
Electrodinosaur, about 3 meters long, offers a speed of 50 meters per minute, that is, about 3 km/h. Control elements are installed on the miracle vehicle, but there is also a remote control.
In addition to the standard playthrough, the dinosaur has an opening/closing mouth function, a wagging tail and light effects.
The invention received a 700 W engine (almost a whole horsepower!) and several batteries. The seller says that a single charge is enough for 6 hours of operation, which is quite good for such a strange transport – by comparison, a standard e-bike will provide 3 hours of continuous operation. Given the size of the dinosaur, this is expected – it will accommodate a larger battery than fragile electric bicycle transport.

As for how the vehicle moves, it probably has small wheels mounted on the dinosaur’s legs plus an additional motor that moves them from side to side. However, in reality, it seems that the dinosaur is actually walking, not riding.
The dinosaur has a weight limit of up to 150 kg, so it is unlikely to be just a child’s toy. In the promotional video of the product, it was ridden by adults – and it seems that it can really be promoted as a form of electric transport. Such pleasure will cost only $3,500.
Electrek has already collected a whole collection of “weird electric vehicles” from Alibaba, including an electric bicycle taxi, a tiny tow truck, a tiger bus and an electrode on wheels.
