This year, the classic graphics quest Myst will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Fans of this game will probably be pleased with the special version that will be released on the iOS platform. Myst Mobile is based on a remaster of the original game released in recent years for Oculus headsets and PC.
The new port of Myst Mobile supports iPhone smartphones and iPad tablets with the A12 Bionic processor and later. This will allow the game to run on iPhone XS, XS Max, XR and newer, as well as iPad 8th generation, iPad Air 3rd generation, and iPad Mini 5th generation and newer.
Mobile ports of Myst have been around for quite some time. The Masterpiece edition version with the original point-and-clic graphics has been around since around 2000. It was later replaced by a version of realMyst with 3D graphics. This version of Myst was created for higher resolution screens and was made on the Unreal Engine, which provided higher quality graphics.
The new mobile version can be downloaded for free. Users will be able to play the first location, Myst Island, without any payments. But to explore anywhere else, you will have to pay. The price of the full version of Myst Mobile on iOS will be $14.99.
