Realme has prepared for release a new smartphone called Realme GT Neo 5, the main feature of which is support for fast charging with a power of 240 W. Thus, the novelty surpassed the previous record holder Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition with HyperCharge support of 210 W and is now the charging record holder.
As the manufacturer claims, thanks to such high-power charging, the Realme GT Neo 5 battery with a capacity of 4600 mAh can be fully charged in just 9.5 minutes. If the user does not have time to wait that long, then the smartphone is able to fill 20% of the battery charge in 80 seconds or 50% in 4 minutes.
It should be noted that two versions of Realme GT Neo 5 will enter the market, differing in charging capacity, battery capacity and memory. The top version has 16GB of RAM, 256GB or 1TB of storage and supports 240W fast charging. The more affordable version is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, contains 8, 12 or 16 GB of RAM, 256 GB of built-in memory, but is limited to a charging power of “only” 150 W.
Both versions of the Realme GT Neo 5 are equipped with a 6.74-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels, coverage of 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The polling frequency of the sensor reaches 1500 Hz. The device carries on board the flagship Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. There is a triple camera on the back panel. The main module includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor, an optical image stabilization system and an f/1.9 aperture lens. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module with a viewing angle of 112 degrees and a 2-megapixel macro module are also available to users. The front camera received a 16-megapixel detector. Another feature of the novelty can be called RGB lighting on the back panel.
The Realme GT Neo 5 smartphone is currently only available in China:
