The long-awaited The Witcher 3: Next-Gen Update boasts a lot: ray tracing, DLSS, a 60fps performance mode, and what appears to be fully detailed external genitalia for female non-player characters.

A post has surfaced on Reddit regarding this unexpected improvement to the character models. According to the author, the screenshot showing the Mistresses of the Forest in human form was made without any modifications. The image shows three female figures, in which the pubic areas are drawn in detail.

It should be noted that in the original 2015 game, all the female characters in their naked form resembled a Barbie doll. They had hairless pubes and prominent labia majora. Mods followed that added “visible vaginas and pubic hair” to the often nude female NPCs.

But in this case, the author of the screenshot claims that the game has no installed modifications. Nevertheless, you can see that some female characters from The Witcher 3 have elaborately drawn vulvas – with pronounced labia majora and labia minora, a clitoral hood and a vaginal opening. Intimate hairstyles in the form of stripes complement the picture.

Developers at CDPR have confirmed that detailed images of female genitalia have indeed infiltrated the game. However, they stated that this happened “unintentionally” and will fix the error in the next update.

It should be noted that The Witcher 3 next-gen updates include “fully integrated fan-made mods, including 4K textures and models.” Realistic genitalia were probably part of these fashions.
