Naughty Dog and Nvidia have released additional hotfixes for the PC version of The Last of Us Part I. With this, the companies are trying to fix various crashes, bugs and other issues that have plagued the game since its launch.
Nvidia says its hotfix driver version 531.58 should improve game stability when running on RTX 30 series graphics cards. In turn, Naughty Dog and co-developer Iron Galaxy released The Last of Us Part I v1.0.1.7 update with some bug fixes. Among them, you can highlight the correction of the problem with a crash when starting the game, a crash when using it [ALT+ENTER] to switch between full screen and windowed modes. Corrections have also been made to the user interface, the operation of the settings menu, interaction with the game controller and monitors. Also, the developers have added additional crash report logs to get more information about the issues.
Despite this, the PC version of The Last of Us Part I still has a number of other issues. Naughty Dog clarified that they are still working on the issue of camera shake when the player uses a mouse instead of a controller. Also, on the Known Issues page there is a considerable list of known problems that are still being worked on. To eliminate them, you need to wait for new patches.
Naughty Dog also says it hopes to eventually get the game verified for the Steam Deck console. However, the company “gives priority to patches and updates before submitting the game for review.”
