As reported by the press service of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, the period of free train travel from Poland to Germany has been extended for Ukrainians. Citizens of Ukraine will be able to use the Przemyśl – Hanover train free of charge until the end of May 2023.

It is noted that the train departs from Przemyśl on odd numbers in April at 22:30. To use the right of free travel, you do not need to have boarding passes with you. It is enough to present a passport of a citizen of Ukraine or another document certifying identity.
At the same time, priority in transportation is given to people who have wristbands from the Polish Red Cross, families with children, the elderly and persons with disabilities. In case of lack of free places, it is necessary to contact the volunteers of the Red Cross. They will help with accommodation, and also help ensure you get on the next train.
In Hannover, passengers are met by employees or volunteers who will show the route to the assistance centers.
