NVIDIA has finally introduced the RTX 4070. The video card will be available from April 13 at a price of $599. The company recommends the RTX 4070 for 1440p gaming at over 100 FPS with ray tracing and DLSS 3.
The RTX 4070 is the first card in the RTX 4000 series that will fit into most reference cases. Gamers will also be pleased with 12 GB of GDDR6X memory instead of 8 GB in the predecessor – everything goes to the fact that such an amount will be optimal for modern games.
Like the more expensive models of the new generation, the RTX 4070 supports the AV1 codec, which will be useful for streamers in light of YouTube’s introduction of support for broadcasts in this format. AV1 allows for high-quality broadcasting in 4K with a significant reduction in bitrate.
A number of manufacturers have already managed to imagine NVIDIA RTX 4070 in their own version. Most reviewers have published tests of the new video card.
