Fans of films about the hired killer John Wick will soon be pleased with the release of the new series “Continental” / The Continental (full name – The Continental: From the World of John Wick). It is a prequel to the John Wick film series. The authors have already prepared and shown a teaser trailer for the series.

The action of the miniseries “Continental” takes place in 1970s in New York and reveals the history of the hotel of the same name, which plays a big role in the world of Wick. The series will tell about young Winston Scott (played by Colin Woodell). He was “dragged into the hellscape of 1970s New York to confront a past he thought was behind him. Winston paves a deadly path through the hotel’s mysterious underworld, where he will eventually claim his future throne.”

In the shown teaser, the plot and characters are poorly revealed, but various weapons are excessively demonstrated.

“Continental” is positioned as a three-part series. It is scheduled to air on the Peacock streaming service in September. It should be noted that, in addition to this mini-series, the world of John Wick is waiting for another addition – a film called “Ballerina” with Anna de Armas in the main role should be released in cinemas next year.
