Vodafone Ukraine gives two months of subscription to YouTube Premium, but there is a nuance

Vodafone Ukraine renews its partnership with the most popular video hosting YouTube – on this occasion, the operator launched a campaign and gives subscribers in Ukraine two months of subscription to YouTube Premium. The promotion itself will last until 12/31/23, however, there is an unpleasant nuance that significantly narrows the circle of potential beneficiaries of this promotion.

Yes, the offer is only available to Vodafone subscribers who have not previously subscribed to YouTube, YouTube Music or Google Play Music, as per YouTube’s global policy in all countries. Another condition is a paid package of services according to the tariff.

You can activate the promotion yourself in the My Vodafone program or send a short USSD request *313#.

According to Vodafone Ukraine, video hosting YouTube remains the most popular online site for viewing video content among Ukrainians – it is regularly visited by almost 23 million users.

An individual YouTube Premium subscription in Ukraine costs UAH 99 per month (a student subscription is almost twice as cheap), while a YouTube Premium family plan for 6 people is UAH 149 per month. The other day, YouTube once again added a number of new features to the premium subscription, including a new 1080p mode with an increased bitrate (only on iOS so far).
