Discovery+, meanwhile, offered mostly series from networks like HGTV, Discovery Channel, TLC and Food Network.
The new streaming service Max will bring it all under one roof with three subscription plans:

- Max Ad Free will provide access to all of the above and additionally offer 30 downloads for offline viewing. And there will be no more advertising. This plan will cost $15.99 per month or $149.99 per year;
- Max Ultimate Ad Free will offer 4 simultaneous streams, support for 4K resolution, audio format up to Dolby Atmos, and the number of downloads has been increased to 100. The cost of this tariff is $19.99 per month or $199.99 per year.
Although support for Dolby Atmos and 4K will not be available for all content in the library.
To attract users to the Max service, Warner Bros. intends to develop the most successful current projects and launch new ones. Yes, it is planned to create the first series about Harry Potter – according to the season for each of Rowling’s 7 books. In addition to the already popular Game of Thrones spin-off House of the Dragon, Warner Bros. Discovery has announced another prequel called Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. And that’s not even the only new Game of Thrones prequel in the works for Max.
