Elon Musk announced the introduction of monetization on Twitter. During the year, the platform will not charge a commission for author remuneration. Thus, authors will be able to receive 70% of the reward on iOS and Android through the commission of the platforms and more than 90% on the Internet depending on the payment system.
For the next 12 months, Twitter will run out of money.
You will receive money that will be received, so 70% for messages on iOS & Android (30% of them) and ~92% on the site (maybe depending on payment processor).
After first year, iOS & Android fees…

After the first year, iOS and Android payments will drop to 15%, and Twitter will take a small amount above that, depending on the amount of payment. The numbers from Musk’s tweet look strange because Android already only charges a 15% commission, a Google spokesperson confirmed to Engadget. However, this is not his only wonder.
Content creators can charge $2.99, $4.99, or $9.99 per month for exclusive content, which can include subscriber-only chats on Twitter Spaces, as well as special badges for paid subscribers. As The Verge noted, Twitter’s help page now states, “we hope to include newsletters and other Twitter features as potential bonus content.”
The Super Follows option, introduced in 2021, has been renamed to Subscriptions. It was not very popular both before the renaming and before Musk came to power in the company – new opportunities for content creators can contribute to this.
Content creation will be facilitated by increasing the maximum number of characters in a tweet. As of February, the limit has been increased to 4,000 characters for Twitter Blue subscribers in the US. Now the company has increased it to 10,000 characters, adding the ability to highlight text in bold and italics (also only for paid users).
We’re making improvements to the writing and reading experience on Twitter! Starting today, Twitter now supports Tweets up to 10,000 characters in length, with bold and italic text formatting.

Elon Musk continues to reform Twitter – from April 15, only tweets from verified accounts will be displayed on the “For you” tab
