“Kyivstar” is preparing another wave of price increases — this time for a number of prepaid communication tariffs based on the previous 2018 and 2019 lines. The corresponding message appeared on the operator’s official website on April 14 (as usual, on the Friday before the weekend), so of course it went unnoticed. And now subscribers have started receiving a number of tariffs “letters of happiness” service SMS about changes in the conditions of service provision.

“Kyivstar” explains that they index the cost of services in tariffs, where the price has not changed from 1.5 to 3 years, and separately emphasize:
“Indexing is necessary to maintain the operation of the mobile network, restore destroyed and build new base stations throughout Ukraine, increase the number of generators and batteries on the operator’s equipment. These changes will also help restore Ukrainian communications to territories already liberated from the occupiers, as well as new cities and villages that will be liberated in the future.”

Which tariffs of “Kyivstar” will increase in price, how and when
From April 27, the subscription fee will increase by an average of 30% – up to UAH 175-200-225-275. per month depending on the tariff. We are talking about tariffs “Kyivstar Calls 2018”, “Kyivstar Always Online 2019”, “Kyivstar Online+ 2019”, “Communication without limits 2019” and some other archived plans. Unfortunately, the operator did not provide a complete list of tariffs in which the conditions change.
By tradition, “Kyivstar” presents the news about an unpleasant increase in the subscription fee for the desired “increase in the volume of services” and, judging by the reaction of users in social networks (screenshots of the reactions below), they do not need these “additional minutes for calls to other networks and/or additional “Gigabytes of the Internet”, which the operator partially compensates for the price increase. The volume of additional minutes and gigabytes of mobile Internet depends on the specific tariff – a summary table with a detailed comparison of changes is a dream, so it remains to collect information piece by piece from the service SMS published by subscribers with details about the new conditions. Such SMS are sent at least 7 days before the introduction of changes. Subscribers can also find out more details about the change of conditions by calling 477*9 or in the “My Kyivstar” application.
The operator also draws attention to the fact that the client has the option of changing the current tariff free of charge to any other current line that better meets their needs in terms of service volume and cost. In particular, the operator offers the “Supersila Economy” option in the LOVE UA Maximum tariff as a more affordable alternative You can connect it by dialing *477*65# or in the My Kyivstar application, which allows you to reduce the cost from the standard 175 UAH to 125 UAH per month in exchange for a more modest charge. This is a special offer for people who do not need a minute for other networks or the Internet in the tariff, and most importantly – calls in the network.
