The editorial office received a request for help from the military unit A 7278, which protects our country in the Zaporozhye region. Military medics need an ambulance. The collection is held together with volunteer Serhii Sevidov.
From the first day of the war, Serhiy created an online group on his own initiative to look for people who need to be evacuated from hot spots. In less than a week, the group had more than 2,000 people. Serhiy’s team evacuated people from Buchi, Irpen, Kharkiv, and Kyiv, and saved more than 10,000-11,000 lives in the first months of the full-scale war.
Serhiy heard about the acute shortage of ambulances at the front and from that day on he started transporting cars to the front for the military.
According to Serhii: “We have a huge problem with fast cars in our country, because this type of transport is a priority for the enemy. Cars often come under shelling, it doesn’t last long.”
In total, the team has already purchased and delivered three ambulances to Ukraine. These cars save the lives of soldiers near Bakhmut and in the Zaporozhye region every day.
Our goal is to collect UAH 405,000 for an ambulance, which will be delivered to the Zaporozhye direction. Each car is purchased in England, the volunteer claims that it is twice as cheap as buying in other countries.
