More than a year ago, the “Diya” application introduced the possibility of sharing the right to drive a car – car sharing. It was possible to take advantage of this opportunity without paperwork and unnecessary trouble. Currently, the Ministry of Digitization team has finalized this service. From now on, users can use “Action” not only to transfer permission to drive a car, but also to cancel it. The service can be used by both the car owner and the proper user.

As noted in the Ministry of Digital, this service is especially relevant during the war, as it allows you to temporarily transfer the right to drive a car. For example, to help relatives or friends leave the war zone. Previously, in order to cancel car sharing, you had to go to the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and write a statement about the cancellation of the right user or wait until the car sharing period expires. Now it can be done in a few clicks in the program.

To use the service, vehicle owners must:

• log in to “Action”;
• select Services — Car sharing;
• next – Cancel sharing.

For a proper user, the algorithm of actions is slightly different. He needs:

• log in to “Action”
• go to the Vehicle Registration Certificate Menu
• choose Refuse to use the car — Start
• pass the generated screen with the request to the owner for confirmation.

After performing the specified actions, the cancellation will occur automatically, and the technical passport will disappear from the “Action” of the appropriate user.

The service is implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
