Rapace (“Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows,” “Prometheus”) will play an astronaut who returns to Earth after crashing in space — only to find that key parts of her life seem to be missing.
Apple has released the first images and premiere date for its new psychological thriller Constellation. The series was created by Peter Harness (“Doctor Who”) and directed by Michelle Maclaren (“Game of Thrones”, “Hardcore”).
After a tricky debacle on the International Space Station, Astronaut Jo Ericsson has only a speculative hour and limited purchases to make it home on earth.
And that is just the beginning of her nightmare.

In addition to Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks (“Hardcore”), “Constellation” also stars James D’Arcy, Julian Luman, William Catlett and Barbara Sukova.
“An action-packed space adventure explores the darkest reaches of human psychology and one woman’s desperate quest to uncover the truth about the hidden history of space travel and reclaim all she’s lost,” reads the synopsis.
Recently, Apple TV+ has offered decent sci-fi to the viewer — think “Invasion” and “Shelter” — and it seems to continue with that strategy. Earlier, the service also renewed the current epic “The Base” for a third season.
