The disruption in the work of Kyivstar caused a chain reaction that caused problems in the work of other operators and companies.
Not having the opportunity to use Kyivstar mobile communications, subscribers began to buy SIM cards of two other Ukrainian mobile operators. In turn, this caused a heavy load on their networks, which in some cases made communication difficult. Some Vodafone and Lifecell users complain about the deterioration of the quality of communication. There are also complaints about the operation of mobile applications of operators.
In addition, due to interruptions in the work of the operator “Kyivstar”, the unstable operation of some services of “PrivatBank” is observed. The bank itself, internet banking and mobile application work without problems. However, due to communication issues, some POS terminals, ATMs and self-service terminals may be unstable or out of communication. This was reported by the bank’s press service.
