Yesterday’s hacker attack on the Kyivstar operator’s network is the result of the activities of the Russian pseudo-hacker group Sontsepek. It was she who took responsibility for the attack. According to the SBU, this is actually a hacking unit of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces (known as the game).

Russian criminals said they destroyed 10,000 computers, more than 4,000 servers and all cloud storage and backup systems. The main reason for their crime was the fact that “Kyivstar” provides communications to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, state bodies and power structures of Ukraine.

Despite the bragging of Russian criminals, specialists of “Kyivstar”, SBU and other state bodies are working together to restore the network.

At the same time, the UNITED24 platform, the “Return to Life” fund and monobank initiated the collection “Revenge for Kyiv and Kyivstar” – operation “Unity-2. New Year’s salute”. It is planned to purchase 5,000 FPV drones through joint efforts, for which 220 million hryvnias need to be raised. With these funds, 3,000 drones with night vision, 2,000 drones with day vision and ammunition for each of them will be ordered.

The collection will last until 22:00 on December 15. Various prizes will be raffled off among those who donate for revenge. The first batch of drones is planned to be sent to the front on January 10 or even earlier to give the occupiers a hellish salute.
