The Ministry of Digitization presented an innovative vision of the development of Ukraine WINWIN

The Ministry of Digital Transformation presented the global innovative vision of WINWIN. It defines the main directions of Ukraine’s development during and after the war. It is expected that the implementation of the vision will help the country make an economic leap and create conditions for the development of business, education and science.

It is noted that innovation is the key to victory and the foundation of a high standard of living. They are needed during war to save human lives. After the war, they will help with the demining of the territory, the development of human capital, the strengthening of the economy and the restoration of global security.

Defense, medical, agricultural, green, bio and educational technologies are now in focus. In addition, state management technologies, borderless economy, artificial intelligence, cyber security, virtual reality, etc.

The vision contains 4 sections: “Innovations today”, “Innovations of the future”, “Innovation vision of Ukraine 2030” and “Innovation strategy”.

The Ministry of Digital has created a document with a detailed plan for each sector and invites all interested parties to participate in the formation. You can join the public discussions and become part of the WINWIN vision by sending a letter to the email address [email protected].

After the completion of public discussions, the global innovative vision (will be approved at the level of the Cabinet of Ministers, and it will become an official state strategy).

In addition, the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said that Ukraine took third place in the European Open Data Maturity rating. France was in first place, Poland in second place. Ukraine, being in the conditions of a full-scale war, took third place with the following points:

  • Open data policy — 625
  • Functioning of the open data portal data.gov.ua — 607
  • The impact of open data is 600
  • The quality of open data is 611

The rating includes 35 European countries. For the first time, Ukraine appeared in the Open Data Maturity rating in 2020 and was in 17th place.
