Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov summed up the results of 2023 in the sphere under his authority.
The Ministry of Digitization team actively worked on the development of “Action” and received more than 2 million reviews. It is noted that 82% of Ukrainians are satisfied with the services of “Dia”. During this year, 39 new services appeared in the application and on the portal. Currently, more than 130 services and about 20 million users are already available in Diya.
The Ministry of Digitization team has been working on the field of defense technologies for the second year. In April, the team launched the Brave1 cluster, within which 137 developments were funded for $2.3 million.
“Each technology is a product that changes the approach to warfare: starting with naval drones and UAVs and ending with an invisibility cloak and the development of EW-resistant products,” Fedorov says.
As part of the “Drone Army”, 43 strike companies were created in the ranks of the Defense Forces and almost 20,000 drone operators were trained.
“We have cases when an assault company hit 80 units of enemy equipment in one night,” says Fedorov.
Thanks to partners, about 47,000 Starlink terminals and more than 900 Tesla Powerwall energy storage systems are operating in Ukraine.
At the same time, the reform of the State Statistics Service is ongoing.
“We are turning the State Statistics Service into an information system that collects and processes information in real time. In October, for the first time, a pilot survey on employment and unemployment of Ukrainians was conducted in an online format — without going around apartments, filling out questionnaires and transferring everything to a computer,” continues Mykhailo Fedorov.
In addition, the Ministry of Statistics is working on the “Dream” application, which will “change the educational process for children, parents and teachers.” It is planned to present the program at the beginning of next year in order to launch a pilot project in the first schools.
