The second Christmas and New Year in the conditions of a full-scale war with bloody Russia. This year seemed to be extremely difficult, especially for those who lost their relatives and their homes due to the terrorist’s devious non-donation. But we persevered, saved the most important people and the project, which the author of this text has been a part of for more than 10 years. So we can continue doing what we love. For this, sincere and unspeakable thanks to all those thanks to whom life should work and live. Eternal memory and glory to all fallen defenders and defenders of Ukraine.

Let’s start with the most notable projects and changes that were implemented on the site during 2023:

During this year, the editorial office independently prepared and published approx 1000 articles/reviews and 5500 news. A separate achievement that is very pleasing, 300 materials from esteemed readers in the five months since the launch of the section. And we also succeeded 232 partner projectswhich were read in total more than 1 million times. This year, Google moved to Analytics 4 (GA4) and broke all the analytics for us prevented us from directly comparing key metrics with 2022. So, let’s proceed from what is: the site was visited during the year almost 17 million unique users. It was about the same last year. They looked over 59 million pages and left near 163 thousand comments, and if you add reactions to them, the total is close 1 million interactions. On average, about 60,000 users visit the site every day, viewing 150,000 pages. The current maximum — on January 22, the site had almost 380,000 unique users. This is a new absolute attendance record for the entire history of the project.

The majority of ITC.ua readers are from Ukraine – more than 70% (38.8% of them are from Kyiv). In second place in terms of share… Kazakhstan (4%). Poland, Germany, the USA and all others follow. The device mix is ​​still dominated by mobile devices – and interestingly, the share has decreased slightly – 77.9% compared to 83% in the past. Meanwhile, the share of site views from a PC increased to 22.1%. Share of devices where installed the Ukrainian language of the interface increased to 36%, while 57% still use the Russian interface language. Another 7.6% are users with an English interface.

The vast majority of site readers prefer Chrome – it accounts for almost 75% of all visits (12.4% in Safari). Among OSes, Android remains the unchanging leader – 61%. It is followed by Windows (18.2%), iOS (18.1%), macOS (3.06%), Linux (1.3%).

Hello, 2024th

Each of us welcomes the New Year in our own way: someone is in the rear under the threat of terrorist attacks with missiles and drones, while the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are in the dugouts on the front lines. It is always difficult to celebrate during war, but it is definitely not worth losing heart, because this is exactly what the enemy needs: there is nothing shameful in meeting him in the circle of close people, and you can still manage to do a few good deeds this year – a few more meetings. There are some ambitious ideas for 2024 and we hope to mention them among the achievements in next year’s results. Today and tomorrow we will continue to work in lite mode, but we will not leave you without interesting new content, so do not forget to visit the site, and we will return to work in full from January 2.
