The “Nova Poshta” group of companies, which includes “Nova Poshta” itself along with the rest, is changing its name in order to emphasize that in 20 years on the Ukrainian market it has become “already much bigger than the post office”. It’s not yet clear how this rebranding will affect the company’s logo and overall brand visual style, aside from the obvious name change.

Updated [11:51]: In a comment to ITC.ua, Nova Poshta clarified that Nova Poshta remains the logistics operator. Only a group of companies is changing its name to NOVA. No rebranding or logo changes are planned.

Why did “Nova Poshta” decide to change its name

Nova Poshta has been operating on the Ukrainian market since 2001 and during this time has become a real brand name. a product, service or organization in which you feel “unquestionable trust”, one of the most valuable Ukrainian brands in many aspects. All these years, “Nova Poshta” developed, creating new companies and products. One of the most famous subsidiaries of Nova Poshta is fintech NovaPay, which recently opened accounts for customers. The structure also includes the IT division of Nova Digital, which is responsible, among other things, for the cyber protection of the business, Nova Global, which delivers goods from different continents. At the same time, “Nova Poshta”, in addition to the usual delivery, sells fulfillment services, freight transportation and operates in Europe.

We are already much more than the post office. Therefore, we remove this word from the name of the group of companies and leave it broad, without barriers.

NOVA

Vyacheslav Klimov, co-owner of the NOVA group, emphasized that all NOVA companies implement a common strategy and are guided by the same values: Fast – Easy – Safe – Human – Tech – Growth”. According to him, the main goal of the NOVA group is to provide easy delivery of something for life and business. So far, these are parcels, money and technology, but NOVA does not plan to stop there and is already preparing to launch new services.

Currently, the NOVA structure includes the following individual companies:

• “Nova Poshta” in Ukraine delivers documents, parcels, large loads, and also provides freight transportation and fulfillment services. It has an accessible network for customers: 11,400 branches and 15,500 post machines throughout Ukraine. Delivers across the country in 24 hours, and within the city on the same day.
• Nova Post Europe – a company that provides a full range of logistics services for both private individuals and business clients. It provides fast and reliable delivery of documents, parcels and cargo across Europe, as well as between the EU and Ukraine. The company has already opened its representative offices in 11 countries: Moldova, Poland, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Romania, Germany, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia, Hungary and Italy. It has 35,000 service points, of which 83 are its own branches.
• NovaPay — a non-banking financial institution that develops its own international payment system and provides financial services to private clients and businesses. NovaPay handles 2.6 million transactions per day. A full member of international payment systems Visa and MasterCard. The company has a certificate of compliance with the international data security standard of the payment card industry PCI DSS. At the end of 2023, the company released a program for customers to open current accounts.
• Nova Global – a company whose main focus is on the global e-commerce market and cooperation with international marketplaces. With Nova Global, any online stores in the countries of North and South America, the countries of the Asia-Pacific region and Great Britain become available to the Ukrainian consumer with the delivery of goods by Nova Poshta. For Ukrainian medium and small businesses, the company’s services are an opportunity to enter new markets and develop the export of their goods to other parts of the world.
• Supernova Airlines provides fast delivery to its customers from anywhere in the world. The company has already made dozens of flights between European countries. It will soon begin transcontinental flights on cargo planes.
• IT company Nova Digital is a powerful manufacturer of web applications and software for architectures of any complexity and workload. Nova Digital builds and maintains software products that handle 30,000 operations per second. The solutions created by her have been tested on 32 million private and business users of Nova Poshta.

In 2023, “Nova Poshta” opened 4,850 branches and post machines, and also delivered a record number of items – more than 400 million items (10% more than in the record pre-war year 2021). On December 18, the company delivered more than 2.01 million shipments, breaking the previous record of 1.96 million shipments per day, set on December 30, 2022.
