On January 17, sales of the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER video card will begin in Ukraine. I am glad that this time the Ukrainian sales start at the same time as the world sales – without delays. And another great news is that from the first day Ukrainian consumers are offered a wide selection of different models from many manufacturers.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER video card is based on the AD104 graphics processor, which contains 7168 CUDA cores and 80 blocks of raster operations. The video chip operates at a base frequency of 1980 MHz, and the Boost frequency is 2475 MHz. The card also includes 12 GB of GDDR6X video memory with a 192-bit access bus and a bandwidth of 504 GB/s.
Judging by the results of the first reviews conducted by colleagues from Western resources, the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER provides good performance at a resolution of 1440p. At this resolution, it is about 17% more productive than the original RTX 4070 model. Also, the new product is ahead of the RTX 3080. At 4K resolution, the device is not always able to provide a stable 60 k/s, but it is also faster than the RTX 3080.
The new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER video card goes on sale at a recommended price of $599 for the reference version. In Ukraine, prices start at UAH 31,000.
As expected, NVIDIA’s next new product will be a budget GeForce RTX 3050 video card with 6 GB of memory. According to preliminary data, it will also differ from the current version with 8 GB of memory by a reduced number of GPU functional units, reduced frequencies and reduced memory bandwidth. All this will allow her to do without additional food.
