As Oleksandr Kamyshyn, the head of the Ministry of Strategic Industries, said, on the night of January 17, the Ukrainian military first used the air defense system of the FrankenSAM project. The application turned out to be successful – the defenders of the sky shot down a UAV of the Shahed type at a distance of 9 km.
As a reminder, FrankenSAM is a program for combining Western air-to-air and surface-to-air missiles with Soviet air defense systems that exist in Ukraine. This approach makes it possible to strengthen Ukrainian air defense forces against the background of the depletion of stocks of Soviet missiles for the Buk air defense system and others.
Kamyshyn said that 5 projects have already been worked on as part of the FrankenSAM program. All these systems have already been deployed on the battlefield.
Analysts also note that the recent downing of the Russian A-50 anti-aircraft missile could be the result of a combination of the capabilities of the Soviet S-300 system and the American Patriot. This follows from the following, according to Forbes.

The only means of defeat in the armed forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that can hit an aircraft at such a distance are the PAC-2 GEM-T/GEM-C missiles for the MIM-104 Patriot. The pilot of the Russian Su-34 plane, during a conversation with the controller, reported that his plane came under the radiation of the S-300 radar. So, probably, the Armed Forces combined the work of the Patriot and the S-300 – briefly (for a few seconds) activated the S-300 radar to receive data about the targets, and then launched missiles from the Patriot at the detected targets.
