BMW: 3- and 4-series updates, new X3 crossover

So far, it is known about the renewal of BMW cars in the very “center” of the model line – we are talking about BMW 3-series sedans and station wagons, as well as 4-series coupes. The start of production of such cars for the Ukrainian market is planned for the spring-summer of 2024. However, other novelties look more interesting: we are talking about the “hot” BMW M5 sedan and the new generation BMW X3 crossover. They will have to wait longer – for example, the start of production of the X3 is scheduled for August – but there is no doubt that they will find their fans.

Citroen: new C3 hatchback, updated Berlingo and SpaceTourer veins

There will also be several cars from the Citroen brand – both updated and new. Probably, the main novelty can be called the new Citroen C3 hatchback: we are waiting for you in the second half of 2024.

However, even earlier – approximately, in the spring or early summer – updated vehicles may already arrive in Ukraine: the medium Citroen Berlingo and the large Citroen Space Tourer.

Honda: new crossovers ZR-V and CR-V, new generation Civic

The new Honda crossovers were expected: ZR-V and CR-V were previously shown for the European market, then prices and configurations for Ukraine appeared. The only question that remained was about the beginning of the supply of cars. So here it is: the first batches of Honda ZR-V have already arrived in Ukraine, the Honda CR-V crossover is currently undergoing certification – that is, its delivery and sales will begin very soon.

But the announcement of Honda Civic was a pleasant surprise! This car is expected in the summer of this year, a 5-door hatchback and a hybrid power plant will be offered for Ukraine. Exact prices and configurations will be announced closer to the start of sales.

Hyundai: Elantra and Tucson updates, new Santa Fe and the return of the Sonata

Hyundai offers one of the biggest announcements of new products. It all starts with the compact crossover Hyundai Kona of the new generation: the prices were recently revealed, the first cars are already presented in showrooms. Next, several updated models await us: the Hyundai Tucson crossover, the Hyundai Elantra sedan, and the Hyundai i30 hatchback.

Small? Then hold on: in February, the large Hyundai Sonata sedan should return to the Ukrainian market, also in an updated version. Then, in the spring, a completely new Hyundai Santa Fe crossover awaits us, and in the summer, the updated Hyundai IONIQ 5 electric car will arrive.

Infiniti: Updates to the QX50 and QX55

Infiniti QX50 and Infiniti QX55 cars have been produced for several years (although the latter is a novelty for Ukraine), so it’s time for a planned update. It will be held during 2024, so over time we should expect new variants of the Infiniti QX50 crossover and the Infiniti QX55 cross-coupe.

Jeep: the main focus is the Avenger compact crossover

At the end of 2023, the Jeep brand received a complete restart in Ukraine, with three models at once. But in 2024, there should be four of them – we expect a compact Jeep Avenger crossover in Ukraine.

So far, it is known exactly about the launch of the hybrid version, built on the basis of a 1.2-liter turbo engine. The Jeep Avenger is based on the BMR platform, front-wheel drive, plus compact dimensions and a potentially “attractive” price – all this should ensure good sales and popularity of the new product.

Mazda: CX-30 update, new versions of СX-5

After the launch of the “big” Mazda models, it’s time to update the “small” ones. We are talking about the updated Mazda CX-30 crossover: a new multimedia system, new interior finishing options, and an expanded list of equipment. New versions of the popular model СХ-5 are also expected: the appearance of a new and modern multimedia system

Mini: new Cooper electric car, new Countryman and Aceman crossovers

The first new products from Mini are electric cars – the new Cooper and Countryman in an electric version. The production of such models will start already in March, and soon they can be expected in Ukraine.

However, more important novelties are expected a little later: we are talking about the internal combustion engine version of the Mini Countryman crossover (it has changed generations and has become much larger in size), and we are also waiting for the new compact Mini Aceman crossover (in fact, it will occupy a niche a class below the relatively new Countryman). Given the popularity of compact crossovers in Ukraine, these two models will be very important for Mini.

Mitsubishi: the main focus is on the L200 pickup truck

The Mitsubishi company is gradually updating its model line. And after the recent launch of the new Mitsubishi Outlander, it’s now time to launch another major and all-new vehicle – the Mitsubishi L200 pickup truck.

Details about the Mitsubishi L200 car are already known: it will retain the frame structure, it is expected to offer all-wheel drive, and a 2.4-liter turbodiesel will be installed under the hood. The new Mitsubishi L200 pickup should arrive in Ukraine in the summer.

Nissan: Juke updates, new versions/kits for Qashqai and X-Trail

The Nissan company plans to update the entire model range of SUV cars in Ukraine – we are talking about three crossovers. Nissan Juke will receive the most changes: a new exterior design and new finishing materials inside, a 12.3-inch touchscreen display in the cabin. The estimated time of appearance in Ukraine is the second quarter of the current year.

A little later, new versions of the already known “fresh” Nissan Qashqai and Nissan X-Trail models will arrive: the third and fourth quarters, respectively. The first will receive a changed appearance, a more premium leather interior, as well as 20-inch wheels. The second will offer a special configuration for fans of off-road adventures, as well as an expanded list of equipment in the configurations that already exist.

Opel: updated veins Combo Life and Zafira Life

The main emphasis in the updated Opel model line for Ukraine is the new Combo Life and Zafira Life veins. Both models will come to us already in the second quarter of the year, will receive the signature Opel Vizor look and more modern interiors.

Peugeot: new crossover 3008, update of e-2008 and Rifter

The list of updates from Peugeot is also one of the largest – and these will be cars and electric vehicles of various classes. The new generation Peugeot 3008 crossover can be called the main novelty.

For the new Peugeot 3008, the design has changed significantly, a new interior has appeared, several electric versions are promised for Europe. But the specifics of the versions for Ukraine will appear closer to the start of sales – this should happen in the second half of the year.

However, the Peugeot Rifter and Peugeot Traveler veins will come to us earlier: we are waiting for spring or early summer. Around this time, the brand’s electric vehicles should also arrive in Ukraine: the updated Peugeot e-2008 crossover and the updated Peugeot e-Rifter van.

Porsche: brand new Panamera and Macan, new version of Cayenne GTS

It seems that in the segment of expensive premium cars, it is the Porsche company that intends to offer a maximum of updates – almost the entire model range! Yes, a new generation of the Porsche Panamera was already promised in March, and the Porsche Taycan electric car will “arrive” in April.

Mid-summer will present a special version of the popular crossover – we are waiting for the Porsche Cayenne GTS. After all, autumn promises to be not just “warm”, but even “hot”: we expect the launch of the new Porsche Macan crossover (now it will be electric) and the iconic sports coupe Porsche 911 in a new version.

Skoda: update of Scala, Kamiq, Octavia, new generations of Superb and Kodiaq

If you take the popularity of Skoda and multiply the number of updates, then the new 2024 will become a real “year of Skoda in Ukraine”. Everything will start already in the first quarter, when updated versions of Skoda Scala and Skoda Kamiq cars will arrive.

Later in the second quarter, we expect a new version of the bestseller Skoda Octavia. Finally, the end of the year will also be strong – in the third quarter, new Skoda Superb and Skoda Kodiaq models will be delivered to Ukraine.

Suzuki: another Vitara update and more

We are waiting for the next update of the Vitara model from Suzuki, which should arrive in the summer. In addition, the representatives of the brand talk about another potential novelty, but so far without details and final confirmation from the manufacturer.

Toyota: first the new C-HR crossover, then Camry and Land Cruiser Prado

We expect only a few novelties from the Toyota brand, but each one is very important. First, the Toyota C-HR crossover of the second generation should arrive soon: new design, interior, new equipment.

Secondly, by the end of the year we are also waiting for the new Toyota Camry and Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. By the way, this means that there should be attractive prices and sales for the current generations of Camry and Prado. That is, it is time to think and decide: it is profitable to buy existing cars now, or wait for new models. They will probably be more expensive – but completely new.

Volkswagen: new generation Tiguan and more

The main news from Volkswagen is the launch of the new generation Volkswagen Tiguan in Ukraine. The car should arrive in Ukraine approximately in the second-third quarter of 2024.

There should also be package options for the Volkswagen Arteon (which means a good ratio of equipment and price) plus an expansion of the range of options for the Volkswagen Touareg.

Volvo: the main focus is on the EX30 crossover

And a very interesting Volvo electric car remained for the final. It is about the EX30 compact crossover, which is currently preparing to enter the Ukrainian market. Electric cars should be presented in dealerships already in the first quarter of 2024. The Volvo EX30 crossover is built on a new electric architecture and offers a new design style – like the flagship Volvo EX90. Also record dynamics among all Volvo SUV models: acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. The price of the Volvo EX30 is already known – from 1.31 million hryvnias.

I may not have marked all the brands. Perhaps a part will remain only in the plans. But we can already say: we have had enough of interesting automobile novelties from world-renowned automobile companies.
