The Ministry of Infrastructure is finalizing the creation of a new portal aimed at passengers of international bus routes. Deputy Minister Serhiy Derkach told about it.
According to the plan of the officials, the new portal will become a place where the passenger can find all the information about the carrier, the route, the traffic schedule. There will also be an opportunity to buy a ticket for a legal route on the website. The portal provides integration with aggregators and carriers that sell tickets online.
The portal will provide information only about legal carriers who pay taxes and have all the necessary documents. Currently, passengers do not have the opportunity to check all these aspects.
“We have created a place where this can be done,” says Serhiy Derkach.
The developers of the portal are already testing the stated possibilities with the largest companies selling tickets, and also want to attract as many carriers as possible. It’s free to join the test – an API sharing option is available. You can register at the following address.
Officials want aggregators to sell tickets only for routes that are on the Register.
“This is a question of taxes and business integrity,” the deputy minister adds.
