The NovaPay payment application reached iOS and is already available for iPhone and iPad owners to download in the App Store — on Android, its release took place at the end of 2023.
There are no significant differences between the NovaPay versions for iOS and Android. If you briefly describe the NovaPay program, the closest analogy is probably a monobank, honed to the services of “Nova Poshta” and the needs of customers. Registration in NovaPay takes place through the “Action” application – after that you can issue a payment card free of charge (you can also open a FOP account) and use all services.
Currently, all basic services are available through the NovaPay application, including money transfers within Ukraine (from a card to a Nova Poshta branch in cash or to a card of another bank) and from abroad, cash withdrawals without commission (up to UAH 100,000), utility bills and various payments (internet/TV, fines, taxes, mobile top-up and simply by requisites), internet acquiring for business, as well as all settlements at “Nova Poshta”, including processing parcels on credit.
One of the advantages of NovaPay is the loyalty program for sending by Nova Poshta with the possibility of saving up to 20% (for 6 parcels every month). NovaPay cards can also be added to Google Wallet or Apple Pay to pay for your phone or watch. However, it is still impossible to pay with a card abroad, pay on foreign websites or for services of companies registered outside of Ukraine.
Judging by individual reviews on social networks, the NovaPay application is still somewhat raw, but the team is constantly polishing the UI/UX and working on functionality – we are looking forward to the previously promised ability to quickly and conveniently buy the company’s bonds.
As for NovaPay, it is a financial “daughter” of the large NOVA family, which, together with others, includes Nova Poshta. According to the NBU, the company occupies 35% of the Ukrainian money transfer market. Also, NovaPay already handles 2.6 million transactions per day and is actively developing its own network of POS terminals, aiming for 10,000 own terminals by 2025.
