“Nova Poshta” continues to grow at a frantic pace – during 2023, the logistics market leader opened almost 5,000 more branches and post offices in Ukraine, as a result of which the network grew to 27,050 pixels, which is an achievement in wartime.

In 2023, the development of the network of branches and post offices became one of the priority directions for investments – they amounted to UAH 1.1 billion. During the year, “Nova Poshta” opened 2,242 new branches and installed another 1,853 new mailboxes. A separate priority was the development of the PUDO direction – a point of receipt and delivery of parcels up to 10 kg. Nova Poshta began testing this format back in 2022 and has achieved good results since then: the company is actively looking for partners among shops, cafes, pharmacies, and gas stations to place such points in their premises. Similar branches are already operating in the BRSM, Moyo, Delvi network.

By the beginning of 2024, the “Nova Poshta” network will have 11,460 branches and 15,590 post machines – a total of 27,050 pixels have already been mentioned.

Currently, 60% of all Nova Poshta post machines work inside premises and residential complexes, and the share of street machines is 40%. Last year, the company increased network coverage by 20% — currently branches and post offices operate in more than 10,000 settlements throughout Ukraine. The highest rates of network development are in Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Rivne, Kirovohrad and Cherkasy regions.

It remains to mention that in 2023 “Nova Poshta” delivered a record number of shipments – more than 400 million pieces (by 10% exceeding the previous record of the pre-war year 2021). On December 18, 2023, the company delivered more than 2.01 million shipments, breaking the previous all-time record of 1.96 million shipments per day, set on December 30, 2022. As for financial indicators, for all challenges in the nine months of 2023, turnover increased by 63% to UAH 25.7 billion.

What are the plans for 2024

This year, Novaya Poshta plans to increase investments in network development to 1.9 billion and open another 9,000 service points by the end of 2024. Also, the first violin of one of the most successful Ukrainian holdings is preparing an updated mobile application NP (preliminary launch is planned for this winter – early spring), maximum automation of processes at branches and restarting courier delivery with the aim of increasing the share from the current 8%. Other priorities include the further expansion of business abroad, the development of fintech NovaPay, as well as its own aviation and IT companies.
