Miloud won an Emmy for directing The Heirs and will soon be working on the second season of One of Us, along with three other new directors Nina Lopez-Corrado (Perry Mason), Steven Williams (The Guardians) and Kate Herron (“Locks”), according to Deadline.

Peter Hoare, the director of the controversial third episode of the series “One of Us”, dedicated to the relationship of the survivor Bill with his partner Fred, will also return to work.

Craig Mazin and Neil Druckman, as before, are the showrunners and executive producers of the show, who will also take over directing duties. It is not known which of the seven directors will shoot several episodes — the previous season consisted of nine issues.

Marc Mylod won an Emmy for directing the third episode of the fourth season of The Heirs, titled “Connor’s Wedding,” and directed four episodes in the season, including the debut and finale. His directing credits also include Game of Thrones and HBO’s Entourage and Showtime’s Shameless.

Stephen Williams was nominated for an Emmy for directing for HBO’s The Guardians, and his directorial resume also includes HBO’s Wild West, Showtime’s Ray Donovan and ABC’s Stay Alive.

Nina Lopez-Corrado directed several episodes of Perry Mason and The Incredibles on HBO. Her credits also include the ABC series A Million Little Things, on which she served as director-producer.

Kate Herron, meanwhile, executive produced and directed Disney+’s Locks and directed Netflix’s Sex Education.

The first season of One of Us received 24 Emmy nominations, winning 8 trophies.

Production on the second season is scheduled to begin next month in Vancouver. The sequel will adapt the second game of the series The Last of Us Part 2, and the action will take place after the traumatic events at the Santa Barbara hospital. The character of Abby, played by Caitlin Deaver (“Education”, “Nobody’s Gonna Save You”) will also appear here.
