In one of the recent interviews, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov touched on the topic of digitalization of services for the military and conscripts.
He noted that the Ministry of Statistics and the Ministry of Defense are jointly working on the introduction of an electronic military ticket. Although it could “theoretically” be a military ticket to “Action”, since there is some logic to it, it most likely won’t be there. Fedorov said that they are currently working on this project separately.
He did not share details, as he did not want to spoil anything. Currently, the issue is still being worked out. In addition, in his opinion, “it will be right if the Ministry of Defense is the first to announce the news in this direction.”
At the same time, Mykhailo Fedorov said that Diya will not have an electronic military ID. Also, Diya will not have a military electronic office. For this purpose, a separate information system will be created on the basis of the Ministry of Defense.
“There will be no rules in Diya either,” Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized once again.
