Warner Bros. published a new trailer for the film “Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire”. The next visit to the universe of monsters will take place in Ukraine on March 28, the cast will be led by Dan Stevens, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry and Rachel House.

The trailer reveals the characters of the film, starting with the monsters destroying the pyramids. Baby Kong, a baby monkey, joins the other gorillas in battle. The trailer also shows Godzilla glowing with blue light.

Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire trailer gives a first look at Godzilla’s new design. Director Adam Wingard, who also directed Godzilla vs. Kong, said he wanted to change the design of the kaiju monster. In the previous film in 2021, Wingard wanted to maintain continuity with the previous installment, but in the next version he wanted to show off his point of view. This includes the different colors of Godzilla seen in the trailer.

Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire comes at an interesting time, given its relative proximity to the debut of Godzilla Minus One. Contrary to first impressions, the Hollywood movie “Godzilla and Kong” and the Japanese “Godzilla minus one” are not part of the same franchise.

The tape “Godzilla minus one” became very popular in the United States and received an Oscar nomination for the best visual effects. The success of the film may also help Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire, as the audience will not clearly separate the two films.
