Joker and Harley Quinn Happy Valentine's Day: Todd Phillips posts photo of Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga from upcoming film

Joker: Madness for Two director Todd Phillips shared a special Valentine’s Day look at Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker and Harley Quinn.

On Phillips’ official Instagram account, the director posted three images of Phoenix and Lady Gaga under spotlights, zoomed through the bars of a prison cell and dancing on a stage that looks like the rooftops of Gotham.

“I hope your day is full of love,” Phillips wrote and reminded subscribers of the premiere of the second “Joker” on October 4.

This isn’t the first time Phillips has used the holidays to release images of his upcoming Joker movie. With Joker 2 still eight months away from hitting theaters, it’s safe to expect more holiday-themed images before screenings begin

Joker: Madness for Two, like the previous film, will exist separately from James Ann and Peter Safran’s future DC universe. The films will exist exclusively in what Safran calls the DC Elseworlds canon. There is also unconfirmed information that the film will be a musical.
