Bethesda has released a 1:1 scale replica of the Pip-Boy handheld computer as seen in the upcoming Fallout series, which launches on April 11. Made of metal and ABS injection molding, the Pip-Boy has a working TFT LCD screen that shows animations in the style of the game. The asking price is $200.
The device has a series of animated screens from the Fallout universe, done in a monochrome green color. Access to each screen is done authentically with a twister on the side of the case.
In clock mode, the Pip-Boy displays the time just like it does in the Fallout universe, “making it a great super-large watch for everyday wear.” When it’s not on your hand, it can be placed on a stand as a display or placed on a nightstand as an alarm clock.
FEATURES:
- Official product of the original Amazon Fallout series.
- TFT LCD display with more than 50 animated screens.
- Alarm clock.
- Memory foam cuff for a versatile fit.
- An elegant stand for a table clock.
- Built-in Li-Po battery, rechargeable via USB-C (also continuous power function via power cable).
The first trailer for Amazon’s Fallout series premieres April 11 on Prime Video
This isn’t the first time Bethesda has released the Pip-Boy as a collectible or accessory for cosplayers. There is also a free Fallout Pip-Boy app for iOS.
